‘Nomadic’ would be the word to describe Dave Harvey’s rugby existence. The West Harbour flyhalf and fullback has played for upwards of half a dozen Shute Shield clubs in Sydney, winning two Ken Catchpole Medals in the process, has played in the UK and France, Australian Sevens, and has featured in the Australian Barbarians’ side since 2008. Harvey’s experience proved invaluable for the young Eagles’ back during the 2015 NRC.
With a Brazilian mother, Harvey has now played both Sevens and XVs for Brazil, and will hoping to represent his motherland at the 2016 Olympics.
