Dane Haylett-Petty brings versatility, speed and power with ball in hand as well as a handy kicking game to the Force back three and was a stand-out performer for the club in 2015. Extremely comfortable under the high ball, Haylett-Petty brings great security to the Force as their last line of defence and was exceptional in his 10 outings for the Western Australian side last season. The Cottesloe product made his debut for the Force in 2008 before stints in France and Japan. Has shown plenty of promise since returning to Perth in 2014.
Western Australian product Dane Haylett-Petty used the NRC as a pathway to the gold jersey when he played for the Spirit in 2014 and he returns to the Spirit squad this season as one of the team’s allocated Wallaby players. Haylett-Petty’s skill under the high ball, hard running, and strength in contact will make him a true weapon for the Spirit if he runs out in front of the hill this season.
