Dan Penca
Position Flanker
Date of birth 12 February 1988
Height 181cm
Weight 101kg

Biography

A long-serving and premiership-winning skipper of the Queanbeyan Whites, Penca got his shot on the national stage during the 2015 NRC after missing the inaugural season of the competition while playing in Canada.

A natural leader on the field, Penca is another of the hard-working flankers that seem to come through the Brumbies and ACT club rugby systems. Penca played Australian U19s in 2007, along with former Brumbies Pat McCabe and Dan Palmer and former rugby backrower Jared Waerea-Hargreaves just prior to his switch of codes after the one and only season of the ARC.
