Biography

One of Queensland's brightest young talents, Chris Feauai-Sautia is a valuable asset as a power runner in the centres or on the wing.The explosive Reds' utility back is the equal most capped Australian Schoolboy in history, tied on 11 with Newington College's Hugh Roach, topping the previous marks of nine Tests held by Wallaby stars Quade Cooper and Kurtley Beale.Such was the buzz surrounding the Kiwi-born winger that he was signed by the Reds on a full-time contract while still completing his schooling at Brisbane State High School at just 17 years of age. He picked up the nickname ‘Beast Mode' from Reds' teammates who likened him to former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch - who earned the moniker due to his aggressive running style and ability to break tackles.
