Brad Thorn is a grafting and committed second row player who has become an integral part of the All Blacks side. Thorn is a dual international having represented Australia at Rugby League, as well as New Zealand at Union. His form for the Crusaders, after his initial switch from Rugby League, saw him win his first All Blacks cap in 2003 against Wales. Thorn was to return to League in 2005 with the Brisbane Broncos before re-committing to Union in 2007. He has over 50 caps for the All Blacks and played in all seven of their matches at the 2003 World Cup.
