They’ve dominated a Kiwi team and now Sydney’s Women's Rugby rep team is ready to shoot for a fourth consecutive

Fresh off a tour to New Zealand, where they beat one of the top North Island teams, the Sydney side will compete for the unprecedented feat.

Emily Robinson has been a key part of the side and said they would be ready to play with a target on their back once again.

“We’re always pretty much won the last three nationals. It’s good to be up the top but make sure you stay on your game,” she said.

“The likes of Queensland and ACT, WA are really strong.

“We’re the  team to beat and they’ve got it out for us.”

Wallaroos spots will be up for grabs in the championships, with one of the precious few chances to showcase their talents ahead of the 2017 Women’s World Cup and Robinson said that was a major motivation.

“Everyone wants to play for their country, hopefully i get a crack,” she said.

“There’s a few Test matches at the of the year hopefully I get to pull on that jersey and play for my country.”

One of the new faces in the side, Grace Hamilton, said national selection would be in the back of their minds.

“We just come together as a team, play for each other,” she said.

“First of all we need to win the nationals and then focus on that sort of thing.”
