Stats amazing: Liam Gill

by Staff Writer

2015 has been a year to forget for the Queensland Reds winning just two of their 12 Asteron Life Super Rugby games this season.

However, with 61 career caps to his name and at just 22 years of age, flanker Liam Gill has enjoyed a breakout season.

Pilfers

Despite missing a game through suspension because of a dangerous tackle on Brumbies halfback Nic White, Gill still leads the competition for pilfers with 12 to his name, three ahead of Chiefs flanker Sam Cane.

Forced Penalties

Not only has Gill been a gun at stealing the ball, he has managed to force seven penalties for the Queensland Reds, to rank him second in the competition behind David Pocock.

Tries

While his dominace at the ruck has been a sight to behold in 2015, Gill has still managed a try assist and two tries himself, showing the strong impact he can have with the ball in hand.
