by Rugby.com.au Staff

The Western Force will travel cross-country to kick off their pre-season trials ahead of the 2015 Super Rugby start.

The Force open their pre-season  on Wednesday February 3 against the Hurricanes in Gosford, on the NSW Central Coast, giving their side a tough test first up.

The 2015 runners-up could feature a handful of international players including World Cup-winning All Blacks Julian Savea and Nehe Milner-Skudder

That match will prove a litmus test for the Force’s new-look back line that includes Jono Lance, Ben Tapuai alongside rising star Kyle Godwin.

Their second game will be at home in Perth, 10 days later, against an invitational side - the Asia Pacific Dragons.

While the Dragons make-up is yet to be announced, it will almost certainly be made up of Japanese Top League players and has included names like Wallabies legend George Gregan in the past.

Ticketing information for the matches is yet to be announced.

The Western Force kick off their Super Rugby season proper against the Melbourne Rebels, at nib Stadium.
