EdRugby Junior Reporter
Do you have students who have an interest in Sports Media? The EdRugby Junior Reporter program provides students with an interest in media the opportunity to access a Qantas Wallabies promotional event as an official EdRugby media representative.
A typical EdRugby Junior Experience will include the following;
- Meeting Australian Rugby and Qantas Wallaby Media Staff
- Interviewing a member of the Wallabies squad
- Taking photographs of the action
Following the event, students will be asked to compose a media article about their experience, which will be published on our website. A sample of these articles are posted below.
In 2009, there will be an opportunity for Students to be a Junior Reporter in each Test Match City. Students will have to demonstrate their interest by submitting a report on a Rugby Event. This event can be a school game, from a local club, or a Super 14 Match.
Teachers should consider suitable students, and complete an attached nomination form (note: location details within the city are still to be confirmed)
Questions can be emailed to edrugby@rugby.com.au
