For the classroom

School teachers can access over 100 Rugby-themed, cross-curriculum resources including lesson plans, interactive games and word puzzles as part of the EdRugby for the classroom program. Eight Rugby themes have been used to group the EdRugby lessons.

The Rugby themes are Game plan, Teamwork, The game of Rugby, Rugby diversity, Rugby heritage, Rugby media, Australian pride and Rugby fans.

Teachers may use the resources to complement existing units of work or to develop specific Rugby-themed, cross-curriculum units of work. The lessons have been grouped by the themes and by school levels (as lists indicate to the right) Click on the themes/School Level  to view the lessons.

The resources have been developed in consultation with state and territory Education and Rugby experts and meet national curriculum profile outcomes.

The EdRugby for the classroom resources emphasise:

• Links with the community
