2007 Rugby Season Starter Pack

Welcome to the 2007 Rugby season!

 

Your 2007 Rugby Season Starter Pack includes promotional and technical resources that we hope will be useful for the season ahead. The materials have been designed to help create awareness about junior Rugby in your local community and help your club promote its 2007 sign-on days.

 

The packs have either been sent directly to your club, or to your State Union or Zone Contact for distribution throughout January and February 2007.

Welcome to Rugby book

A great resource for new parents and players to Rugby. This book includes everything they need to know about Rugby in “plain English” and can be used at sign-on days and club promotions.


Wallaby posters and stickers

Wallaby posters and stickers can be handed out to junior players at sign-on days and club promotions. They can also be used as rewards and incentives for players throughout the season.

 

EdRugby flyer

EdRugby, the Australian Rugby Union’s National Education Program for Schools, offers many opportunities for local schools to get involved in Rugby. Use the EdRugby flyers to help promote the program to parents and schools in your local community.

 

Referee flyer

The referee flyer can assist in promoting referee involvement in the game and referee courses in your local community.

 

Licensee list

A list of the Australian Rugby Union’s licensees to assist in meeting your club’s needs for the 2007 season including the production of club specific merchandise or bulk purchase rates on Wallabies merchandise.

Information on how to subscribe to Inside Rugby to keep up with all the news during the 2007 Rugby season.

World Cup Rugby poster

Education and Safety Information

 

Protocol for Serious Injury & Serious Injury Report

The Serious Injury Protocol outlines the steps a club follows in the event of serious injury to a player. It should be displayed in the clubhouse and provided to team officials. The Serious Injury Report is to be completed in the event of serious injury to a player i.e. head or neck injury, or injury that results in admission of a player to hospital after a game. Please photocopy these forms if you need extras.

 

Expectations of Behaviour Guidelines Form

The Expectations of Behaviour Guidelines have been developed to encourage players, parents and spectators of Rugby to participate in the best spirit of the game possible. The guidelines should be displayed in your clubhouse and copied to give to parents, spectators and players.

 

Junior Player Pathway Modified Games Law Book

The complete comprehensive law book for the Junior Player Pathway modified games of Walla, Mini and Midi. Additional information on the features and philosophy of the Junior Player Pathway and the expectations of behaviour are also included in the book.
