The Paper to Paper Wallaroos qualified for the 2010 iRB Womens Rugby World Cup when they defeated Samoa in August 2009. They now join New Zealand as the second Oceania team in the Tournament. The Asia team is yet to be determined (between Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, and Kazakhstan).

The Team Seedings for the World Cup are as follows;

Competition Format

The 12 participating teams have been distributed into 3 pools of 4 teams according to their seeding. This puts Australia in a tough Pool; with New Zeland, Wales and South Africa.

Match Venues and Dates

All pool matches will be played at the Surrey Sports Park in Guilford (South West London) on the following dates;

Round 1: Friday, August 20

Round 2: Tuesday, August 24

Round 3: Saturday, August 28

 

Knock out Phase (Round 4 and 5) will be played at Surrey Sports Park or Twickenham Stoop (top two matches each day).

Round 4: Wednesday, September 1

Round 5 (Finals): Sunday, September 5
