Community Rugby Qantas Wallabies Rewards
The Australian Rugby Union is launching a Community Rugby Rewards Program around each Qantas Wallabies Test Match, including the week leading up to the Test Match, which focuses on improving the quality of the experience and recognising and rewarding current Community Rugby participants within the Game.
The program objective is to provide a range of opportunities for players, coaches, teachers, volunteers and the wider community to interact with our flagship team the Qantas Wallabies.
These opportunities also extend to Australia ‘A’ team matches that are being played in NSW and Queensland.
A comprehensive calendar has been developed in association each host State Union, providing many new opportunities to add to those traditionally available. These are divided into two sections, those that are in the lead up to the Test Match and those that are at the Test Match in each State. These opportunities range from exclusive coaching sessions and tips for players and coaches at both clubs and schools; to carrying the match ball or the Bledisloe Cup onto the field of play at a Test match.
