Governance
Effective governance is an important ingredient in the ongoing growth and success of any organisation - Rugby clubs are no exception. This section reviews governance frameworks, roles, procedures and protocols and legal and legislative requirements that enable clubs to protect themselves, legally and financially.
This topic outlines what should be included in a constitution as well as offering a sample constitution for Rugby clubs to adopt. In addition, the issue of incorporation and insurance is analysed. Further information is provided on the responsibilities of those elected to the board/committees, protocols for running club meetings and AGM's and the legal and legislative requirements that clubs must abide by.
