Competition Management System
The ARU's new Competition Management System has been developed to manage Rugby competition draws, results and ladders. The system is available through MyRugbyAdmin (MRA) to all Rugby clubs, Competition Managers and Unions all over Australia for the 2008 season and beyond.
If your Competition has chosen to use the new system you will find draws, results (including individual player statistics), ladders and Club Championship tables under Fixtures & Results on the home page, by going to www.rugby.com.au/competitions or by clicking the Quick Link to the right.
To administer the Competition Management System users must have MyRugbyAdmin (MRA) access at either a Competition or Club level. Those users with Competition level access can:
- Create seasons and set up locations of games
- Create ladder formats to configure options such as points for a win/draw
- Set up elimination formats in case of end of season finals
- Create clubs to a) allow organisations access to enter results/player statistics etc for their team and b) allow clubs’ results to be aggregated eg Club Championship tables
- Set up Club Championship tables
- Define a competition structure (eg divisions and grades), add teams and set up a draw
- Confirm/enter game results and add team members if required
- Generate multiple reports eg games played, player statistics, sin bins, forfeits
- Print game sheets
Those users with Club level access to MRA can:
- Add players to teams (providing players are registered in MRA)
- Input game results including individual player statistics
- Email team members
- Print team sheets for matches
- Generate multiple reports eg player history, player statistics
- Print team contact lists
