Anti-Discrimination Policy
Anti-Discrimination Policy
The Australian Rugby Union encourages all unions and clubs to be equal opportunity employers. All employees, officials, volunteers and players are treated on their merits, without regard to race, age, sex, marital status or any other factor not applicable to the position. Employees, officials, volunteers and players are valued according to how well they perform their duties, their ability and enthusiasm to maintain the standard of service and performance.
The ARU believes no union or club should tolerate any form of discrimination. All employees, officials, volunteers and players have the right to work and play in an environment free of discrimination and harassment.
The ARU has set out the following guidelines to assist clubs when dealing with the above issue.
