Kristy Giteau has forged her own reputation in the Rugby world as an electrifying winger with a radar for the tryline. She and brother, Qantas Wallabies star playmaker Matt, potentially have the chance to complete a remarkable family double by competing at Rugby World Cups in consecutive years. A graduate of the University of Canberra with two degrees, one in Education and the other in Sports Marketing and Management, Kristy works at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) as the Regional Coordinator for the Sports Commission. A keen Brumbies fan, Kristy also supports the LA Lakers in the NBA. The bubbly flyer lists her proudest sporting moment as the chance to sing the Australian anthem in the gold jersey before her debut match against Samoa in 2009. The second eldest of four children and a self-confessed reality tv tragic, Kristy earned the nickname “Tri Nations” from her teammates for her inability to name her favourite sporting team, besides the Wallabies.
