Invited to tour Argentina with the NSW Barbarians, Alofa Alofa’s broken field running and knack of turning defence into attack along with his ability to cover wing, centre and fullback secured him a contract with the Waratahs for 2014.
Born in Auckland, New Zealand Alofa arrived in Australia as a four-year-old. The youngest of four siblings he was given the occasional Sunday off by his parents, both Christian Ministers to pursue his passion for sport.
After a short stint in league, Alofa returned to rugby with West Harbour. In his debut season he stormed over for 13 tries. Nicknamed “bread,” the 22 year old’s a fan of soul music and he’s a pretty handy musician, playing guitar, bass and drums.
Alofa currently lives in Earlwood.
