NSW Waratahs playmaker BERNARD FOLEY stepped up and delivered as the starting flyhalf for the Qantas Wallabies during their 2014 campaign. In 11 Test appearances throughout the year, Foley scored four tries, 14 conversions and 23 penalty goals, eclipsing the 150-point mark in just his second year in the Test arena. Foley continued his impressive rise as he once again topped the point-scorers list for the Waratahs and was instrumental in steering the side to a second straight Super Rugby finals appearance in 2015. The Sydney University product has built a reputation as a man for the big occasion, slotting the winning penalty goal to hand the Waratahs their maiden Super Rugby title in 2014 and calmly landing a drop goal and penalty goal in the final 10 minutes of the Wallabies’ Spring Tour victory over Wales at the end of the year. In April this year, the incumbent Wallabies and NSW Waratahs number 10 signed a three-year contract extension with the Australian Rugby Union.
