The Australian Boys Sevens squad that will travel to the Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa has been forced to make two changes.

Henry Hutchison has been promoted to the senior national Sevens squad that will travel to New Zealand for a mini-series against the All Blacks Sevens in Rotorua while Tom Wright has suffered a serious knee injury and will be unavailable.

Queenslanders Sam Edwards and Tuaina Tualima have been called up as their replacements.

Coach Hugh Carpenter said: "Sam [Edwards] is a strong hard-running winger who likes contact and already has a fine pedigree. I'm also delighted to welcome in Tuaina [Tualima] to the squad. He's a fine player who will offer a point of difference."
