The Wallaroos have had their Women’s Rugby World Cup dates confirmed by the International Rugby Board.
The round of pool matches will occur at Fédération Française de Rugby (FFR) headquarters in Marcoussis before moving to Stade Jean Bouin, the home of Stade Francis for the semi finals and the grand final.
Australia, placed in pool C has home nation, France, South Africa and Wales in their pool.
Wallaroos Head Coach Paul Verrell is not letting the announcement distract him from the task ahead.
“It’s great now to have the clarity about when and where we are playing, but my focus first and foremost is about the Tri Nations tournament in New Zealand.
“Our preparation for this tournament and how we perform in it will go a long way in our preparation for the IRB Women’s Rugby World Cup.
“I am very excited about seeing our girls play against the Black Ferns and Canada, and it will help the Wallaroos Coaching and Management team go through our selection headaches as we build towards the World Cup.”
The Wallaroos will kick off their campaign against South Africa on August 1, before playing Wales on August 5 followed by a blockbuster against home Nation France on August 9.
The fixture against France will be a difficult challenge for the Wallaroos after the excellent form France showed in the Women’s Six Nations tournament, taking out the Championship for 2014.
The Wallaroos next assembly camp begins on the May 28 in Sydney.
